Spirit of kids
Don’t try to shape your kids in your image! Let their spirit to shape who you can become. Give them the freedom to learn from their self existence, their individuality and creativity. Give them the freedom to dream.

Adult people tells me
That I can be anything I want to be
And I can do everything I want to do
So how come
Mom told me that I can’t watch TV
If I’ll not finish dinner
Dad sent me to fix my room
He told me that I’m a big girl
And I need to be more organized
But if I’m a big girl
And it’s my room
Why can’t I have it the way I want it to be?
What will I be when I grow up?
Will I be a policeman?
Or maybe a fireman
Will I become a doctor?
Maybe I can be a teacher?
Or a builder!?
Will I be an astronaut?
What will I be when I grow up?
Will I be a mechanic?
Or maybe I can work as an actor?
Will I become a famous man?
Or just a football player:-)
Will I write songs?
Will I drive fast cars?
Will I be a father with two kids?
Or maybe more
Will I climb the high mountains?
Or maybe I will be a politician?
What will I be when I grow up?
Will I be rich?
Will I live in the big city?
Or next to the green fields
Will I be a good man?
What will I be when I grow up?
I know
I’ll just be me
Mother got me a balloon today
It is red with a picture of a cat
I took it out to show it to all my friends
And we played in the garden
Just under the big tree
I asked Michael to hold
My new balloon
And run to blue slide
When I looked the balloon was gone
And Michael was playing with another kid
I run home with tears to tell mom
She looked at me and smiled
Then she opened her bag
And took a new balloon
A green balloon
She kissed me
Mother got me a balloon today
I wonder how many more
She has in her bag
When I was a kid
I used to be afraid from spiders
Today I’m 34
And I’m still afraid from spiders
